Topic: Digiface AVB stopped working out of a sudden

Hey folks,

Reaching you today cause my Digiface AVB stopped working out of a sudden, it's not recognized by my Mac anymore, I tried many times to do a clean install of everything, bought two different new USB 3 cables and nothing works.

Ive a Digiface AVB + 1610 Pro

Would you say that Ive extra solutions to try out before sending it to the RME repair service ?

Is it shown in the sytsem report of your Mac under USB?
Did you perform a Firmware update by any chance?

Hey there and thanks you for your quick answer,

No, it's not showing in the USB system report, and for the firmwire, I tried to do the new 269 update a week ago but since it wasnt working, I went back to the 268 and it was working well for a couple days.

Also check in the system report under thunderbolt.
What is this Mac ?

Also check the driver extensions switch
MacOS system preferences / general / startup items and extensions
scroll down to driver extensions and hit the little i-icon right side
a switch may reveal.

Hello, I did try it with a Windows computer, and a Mac Studio 2022, nothing.

It was not working but you were able to perform firmware update ?

What exactly is not working ?

If you can perform firmware update again there is a chance it get back alive.
Make firmware update to the latest one 269.

When I did the firmwire switch to 269 last week, the unit was working. It stopped working about 1 week after (2 days ago)

The Digiface isnt detected by any computer, mac pro 2012, mac studio 2022, Windows 10 PC. I honestly tried anything I think about, I might need to send it to repair service ?

Ask the seller for repair options.
