Topic: MADIface XT II - AES port in WDM only shows as output device

Hello, I know there are many questions and answers related to this topic, but I couldn't find one that solves my problem. I have an MADIface XT II interface and I would like to use the AES output in loopback, configured as a WDM driver in Windows 11. I have enabled the AES port as a WDM driver, but it doesn't show up as an input device (microphone) in Windows, only as an output device. I've run several tests, but without success. Is there any limitation on the AES port that prevents it from appearing as an input? When I configure other MADI pairs, it works as expected (in/out). I would appreciate it if anyone knows the answer. Thank you.

There is small bug in channel ordering for the AES WDM input device in the Settings dialog's WDM Device Configuration list. Select Phones and the AES input will show up and work in the Sound Control panel. If you also need a WDM AES output device also select AES.

New Windows driver 1.05 is available on our website and fixes the AES WDM input selection issue.
