Topic: DigiCheck NG Not Showing Anything Above 10 kHz

Hello everyone! I just installed version 0.93 of DigiCheck on my Mac, and I noticed something I had already been observing since I first started using DigiCheck: none of the measurements in DigiCheck detect any frequencies above 10 kHz. I tested this in several ways and with various sources — whether from the DAW, TIDAL, or audio files on the computer.

I used to see this missing information in the Spectral Analyzer but thought it might be something related to the scale. But now, looking at the Spectrograph, the issue remains — no data above 10 kHz. When I generate a pure tone above 10 kHz, like 16 kHz for example, I can see signal in TotalMix, but no signal at all in DigiCheck.

What could be causing this? I’ve already tried changing several settings in DigiCheck, but no luck.

More details about the setup, please. What exactly is DC set to display?

Re: DigiCheck NG Not Showing Anything Above 10 kHz

So here is my setup:

Mac MINI M2 Pro
Sequoia 15.6
Digicheck 0.93
RME Fireface UCX II + RME ADI-2 FS

Digicheck is running on the loopback from Phones 1 (analog outputs) of the RME Fireface UCX II, wich replicates the main out. But I've already switched DC to several different inputs and it still behaves the same way.

Up! Any thoughts on this?
