Topic: Digicheck NG Jumping Screens on Screen Sleep When Totalmix Doesn't

It's a small thing but I am trying to work out why when my Mac Studio with 2 screens connected goes to sleep or screen sleep with DC NG on the secondary screen, Digicheck NG jumps to the screen with the menu bar on it which is my main screen.

While this is happening I also have Totalmix version 1.9x OR 2.0 beta also on the secondary screen and it does not jump on sleep like DC does and nor do any other programs or windows I happen to have on the secondary screen.

This has been happening for months - so various version of TM and latest versions of DC NG also I've been on either Sequoia or Tahoe latest version on the Mac.

Kind regards

Re: Digicheck NG Jumping Screens on Screen Sleep When Totalmix Doesn't

Hey Paul,
Hope you're keeping well mate.
This rings a bell for me...  I've definitely had this previously.
My suggestion would be to experiment with the "Desktop and Dock" settings (down the bottom) and "Displays have seperate spaces" settings (I have "on" now)...

There are heaps of options and ... I think... I've got them the way I like them now.
I do remember when things were going whacky when a display would sleep snd it would muddle things up.

Anyway, if nothing else, I hope this can enlighten a little!
Cheers,
Matt

Hey Matt yes I’m doing well thanks. Hoping you’re well also…

Thanks for your thoughts. I’ve long disliked the separate spaces per screen apple offer ever since they added the featue. I’m away from my machine right now but I will definitely have a look through those options. I have my screens just how I like them now and the fact DC has the issue but TM doesn’t makes me feel like it could actually be a small bug or something.

Anyhow, I’m not stressed at all about it but thought I would table the issue….

Compliments of the season to you and your family….
