Topic: Recording audio problem: no signal in DAW (but monitoring is fine)

Hi all,

I hope I'm not posting something that's been dealt with earlier or elsewhere, I couldn't find this issue. Here goes:

I recently bought a Fireface UCXII. Monitoring works great, but recording audio doesn't work at all. Just recording silence, even though I see signal coming into TotalMix. I tried several DAW's, including Reaper and Ableton Live.

It might be that the issue is my recent upgrade to OS 15 Sequoia, from OS 14 Sonoma. OR it's my (relatively) new (refurbished) Apple Silicon M1.

Does anyone recognise this problem, does anyone know what the solution might be?
