Topic: No sound in outputs

Hello everyone,
this is something that happened out of the blue, i did not change anything since yesterday, when everything worked fine:

When playing back audio from ableton or sending in audio through one of the inputs, i can see the levels of the respective signals in the TotalMix (in software playback or the inputs), but when i routing them into the headphones or MainOut, the levels are not showing there, and there is no sound.

I already did a restart, two complete shutdowns, a compete Reset of the TotalMix... everything to no avail...

Any ideas what this could be about?

The main out is assigned to some analog outputs, right ?
Please try with a digital output Adat 3/4 for example, let's find out if the issue is on the analog outputs only or the entire interface.

From what you write, it can be broken and needs repair.

Yes, the main out is assigned to Output 1/2.
Unfortunately, it's the same with the ADAT-Outputs.

Please provide a screenshot of Totalmix. Is the FF connected to external power? Check the position of the switch and try another power supply...

The FF is connected to external power (the original power supply), and seems to work fine (inputs show signals when sent to)

Looks like it's all up to date, no?

Yes, but I would try to reflash to see it that woks or fails, may be the firmware memory is broke ?

Your screenshot from Totalmix shows routing is not working, this points to hardware defect inside the box I gueass.
Can be problem with power, can you try with another power supply ?

Ok, thanks!
Unfortunately i get the message that the FireFace Flash App (from fut_mac_fire_x86.zip, the most recent one to download) would need an update to be compatible with my OS (Sonoma 14.6.1)

Unfortunately thats true the FUT is not made for newer MacOS than Mojave
No worry your device shows 1.71 this is up to date.

In what country are you ?
May be there is a RME service partner near you ?

By any chance you know someone to test the interface with another computer ?
