Topic: TalkBack losing settings and not working

Hello and thanks for such a wonderful software and hardware.

Fireface UFX II + SSL Octamic (Adat 1) + Audient ASP800 (Adat 2)

This happened three times:
- Talkback mic si set to Adat 16 (Audient ASP800)
- Everything works flawlessly.
- Next day (Mac Mini M4 is always ON) Talkback is not working

Workaround:
- Go to settings, set Talkback Mic to None and Accept
- Go to settings again, re-select Adat 16 as your TalkBack mic.
- Everything works as expected again.

I can provide videos or screenshots but I guess won't add too much to the exposition of the issue.

Hope this can be solved soon, although it is not blocking it is anoying.

Might be a "wake from sleep" issue here, please try this. Make you settings as usual, then quit the TotalMix FX app. This should reliably store the current state of the app to the preference file. Start up the TMFX app again, and check again after the overnight period.

I did what you said and it seems to work.
Anyhow, looks that this is something that can be fixed. Happy to open a bug ticket with steps to reproduce and the mentioned workaround.

Did you enable the checkbox for "Save changes regularly (<1 min)" in TM's preferences?
