Topic: AVB Tool, 12mic and ARC AVB

I realise the AVB Tool is no longer in production but I am able to purchase one. I am pretty sure that if I connect the AVB Tool to the 12mic over Madi, I could use RME Total mix and use the ARC for talkback (AVB TOOL Mic talkback) and monitoring whilst the 12mic is in another room.

If however I am not using Madi but AVB, can I still use the same setup?
AVBTOOL, ARC in one room monitoring whilst having talkback (The button on ARC) being send to the 12mic whilst using total mix,....I'm trying to use the ARC for monitoring, talk back etc.

The avb tool supports routing from AVB to Madi. But it does not support Total Mix. Only routing, no mixing. The AVB Tool includes a Web Server where you can control the routing. Please read the manual:
