v1.3.0 is out! I've been busy with some personal things lately, and this update was quite a challenge to develop. But I put my heart into it.
RME forum has always been the home base for Vilm Care, and the feedback from this community has shaped so much of its direction. Thank you for that.

What's new:

CPU/GPU temperature monitoring
Internet speed testing
DPC latency measurement (Beta)

Thank you for the effort you put into this tool.

It has already proven very useful; it allowed me to quickly validate my settings, where I discovered I had missed a few entries in some of my energy profiles, maybe due to a restore of a system backup or I simply forgot them.

I was glad to make a donation. The tool is genuinely unique, and it has already saved me time and will certainly continue to do so.

Hello guys.
Here comes the new version of Vilm Care.

Been gone for about 3 months, just me and the code. But Vilm Care v2.0.0 is finally here.

Quick rundown of what's new:

New Care tab, with the new Owl diagnostics and Care features
PC diagnostics and process monitor added
USB connection status and "My Devices" setup
Mailbox added
Improved real-time performance cards, latency diagnostics, and logging

There's more under the hood, but that's the gist. Hope you enjoy it.

It was such a challenge for me. Now I'm gonna sleep. It's 10am here haha

I found a strange behaviour, that I like to share. It is about "Core Parking" and "Power Plan". I have one Computer Dell Precision 5570, that behave like this
:
Apply Disable Core Parking: Works, cores not parked anymore
Apply Power Plan: disable core parking not work anymore (also not, if I press revert/apply disable core parking again). I had to Revert "Apply Power Plan". Than it works again.

On antother Dell Precision 5530 this issue is not there.

I report this because some people may press "Apply All Settings" and wonder why this tool doesn´t help.

Which version are you using? 2.0.5 is the latest version. In 2.0.2 I had no issues, also not in 2.0.5.

I noticed no issue; please describe the single steps so that somebody can reproduce it and show the relevant results with screenshot(s).

Then it will be easier for bighyunwoo to check this.

I try first without screenshot due to difficulties to use it here.

- I open the taskmanger and show the logical processor performance. If I mouseover some of the logical cores, many show "CPUx parked"
- I click in Vlim Core Parking
- I recheck the core parking and non of the logical cores are parked. With mouseover, only "CPUx" is displayed
- I click in Vlim Power Plan Apply
- I recheck the core parking and many are parked again
- I revert Vlim Power Plan Apply and non of the logical cores are parked.

Can it be that your Dell reverts changes in terms of CPU core parking to prevent overheat?

I uninstalled Dell Power Manager and Support Assistant
Furthermore I disabled the Intel Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology Telemetrie Service and
Intel Innovation Platform Framework Service which actively control energy and performance

But what is most important is, that the workflow that i descipe always function exact the moment I press the button. It also stay there even if I wait 10min.

Maybe the powerplan has cpu core parking in place and vilm is unable to change this due to missing rights.
Are you running the tool as administrator?

Yes, I running it as administrator. And I used 2 oses. The Dell one and currently Win11 IoT LTSC. This is fresh installed and I did not changed something in the power settings there. Just with Vilm. The other setting like minimum processor state change Vilm from 15 to 100% and you can see it in the energy power plan

I already mentioned that my Dell nb reverts Core Parking after trying to disable ti with the usual tools. IMHO this is done from the BIOS, not changeable.
