Topic: UFX+ 192 kHz high noise floor

Hi,
Is it normal that my UFX+ shows a noise floor of around -70 dBFS on the analog inputs when switching to 192 kHz?
As soon as I switch back to 96 or 48, everything is normal again at around -100 dBFS.
Did I miss something in the manual, or what could be causing this? Can anyone confirm this?
This also happens without any connection to the MacBook. Can someone explain the technical reason for this?

Re: UFX+ 192 kHz high noise floor

Yes, it's normal and the reason is explained in the manual. It's the converters' noise shaping, the higher noise floor is in the inaudible frequency range.
