Topic: ADAT to AES/EBU Format Converter

Hi,

I checked whole RME lineup but did not find a solution.
Is there any current RME device that would convert 8 channels ADAT to AES/EBU to connect 5.1 Genelec system digitally to my UFX II ?
ADI-8 QS, which would be perfect, is not available anymore, even used.
We were using ADI-4 DD for that but it's gone now and it seems very hard to find a replacement.
I would appreciate any help, thank you.

Yes, I saw it, thank you.
I just thought there would be a possibility to stay within RME ecosystem.
Apparently this multichannel AES/EBU idea is not that common anymore.

I can't think of any current RME product performing format conversion between ADAT (8ch) and 4x AES I/O (8ch).

Also, the Octamic XTC and ADI-8 DS Mk III would be an option, but they are legacy devices as well.

I think the best option would be this format converter from Mutec.

To be on the safe side, check the manual, to see whether it does exactly what you want.
