In one of our studios we have the original RME UFX. Whenever the unit has been powered down for considerable time (a day or so) and then turn on, the analogue outputs seem silent for a good 10 minutes. Chat GPT said this is normal due to thermostatic control (Hmmmm??).....But is it? (It is in a temperature controlled studio at about 22deg C)

I usually leave the unit on always and it always performs perfectly.

I did have the power supply replaced about 18 months ago (it was doing it then too but not sure if it was the power supply)

Is this something normal,.....is it highlighting something else which might be failing or is all normal?
