Topic: fireface ucx ii: how to bypass totalmix and output bit-accurate audio

i can select the proper spdif and aes outputs in my playback software and output through the correct outputs, but the levels in totalmix are not correct. how do i bypass the mixer entirely and just output the unadulterated digital signal?

Re: fireface ucx ii: how to bypass totalmix and output bit-accurate audio

TotalMix FX doesn't alter digtial audio. Its kind of "lossless".

There is no way to bypass the mixer, but at default settings and unity gain, nothing is changed at all.

strange, i was able to get AES to work correctly when i split it to L and R mono... when i left it as stereo it was dual mono output at 3 dB lower. SPDIF works fine in stereo mode

AES is a 2-ch protocol. Stereo playback is possible/default.
Please send a screenshot of TotalMix FX with the AES output selected and driver settings dialog.
