Topic: Is there a way to update firmware without Windows/Mac?

Since microsoft and windows are going a certain way from OS to something else that is not desirable any more, despite having bought a license etc. Windows is becoming a not viable option.

Are the plans to support Linux for applying firmware?

The firmware update tool FUT needs a working driver on the interface, so it is a question of audio driver.

RME has implemented class compliant mode to almost all new interfaces, at the moment there is no information about Linux drivers in the pipeline.

But RME is always good for a surprise.

For the moment you have to use a Mac or PC
