Topic: AutoHotkey v1 and v2 parallel installation
Just to let you know, I’ve published a new blog article explaining how to install AutoHotkey v1 and v2 side by side:

As you may know, AutoHotkey v1 has been deprecated and is no longer officially supported.
If AutoHotkey v1 is already installed, installing v2 afterwards does not create a Compile entry for v2 ".ahk" files in the Windows Explorer context menu.
If you no longer need to compile v1 scripts, you can simply install AutoHotkey v2. In that case, the installer should create the appropriate Compile entry for v2.
However, if you want to keep working with and compiling existing v1 scripts while also starting to use v2, the blog article explains how to set up both versions side by side. It also includes a small script to fix the missing registry entry for the v2 Compile command in Windows Explorer.
This is also the preparation for the upcoming rewrites of two of my AHK scripts. The original versions were written in AHK v1 and therefore require AHK v1 for compiling. The new versions are being rewritten in the AHK v2 language and will require AHK v2 instead for compiling.
