Topic: TDhotkeys - access TotalMix FX and Driver Settings by keyb shortcuts
TDHotkeys stands for "TotalMix and Driver Setting Hotkeys". It is a tool written in AutoHotkey (AHK) v2 that is launched via the Startup folder, runs in the background, and allows TotalMix FX and RME Driver Settings windows to be opened and closed using keyboard shortcuts. This keyboard control makes for a wonderfully efficient workflow.

This new program completely replaces the old AHK v1 script. It is a complete rewrite in AHK v2 because v1 has no longer been supported for some time. It therefore requires AHK v2 (64-bit).

That article also explains how to add two "Compile entries" to the Windows Explorer context menu for AHK v1 and v2 by using a PowerShell script which makes the two needed changes in the registry.
This allows the AHK script to be compiled into an executable program that can easily be added to the users autostart folder.
The current script is not just a simple rewrite of the existing script; it also comes with several new features.

Debug Log
Debug Log displays information about the installation, the system, the AHK version, and which keyboard shortcuts are mapped to which programmes.
"!F1" is AutoHotkey syntax and means the keyboard shortcut "ALT-F1". In this example, it toggles the TotalMix FX window and also starts TotalMix FX if it is not already running. The RME Driver Settings windows are started using ALT-F2 and ALT-F3.
Debug Log also shows the TotalMix and RME Driver Settings processes, including their PIDs, their full paths, and whether the programmes were found at those locations.
The subsequent activity of TDhotkeys is logged as well, which can be useful for troubleshooting.
Window Info
This is a very useful function for determining the name of a window. This is required when adapting the software to other RME drivers.
Window Name and ExactTitle := true are the relevant settings needed when adapting the configuration to your own setup.
Window Position
The window size and position of "Debug Log" and "Window info" are remembered in a file config.ini.
