Please work with it before coming up with such requests. What is MIDI remote good for when you have to use the keyboard then to save the file anyway?

Not at all. This is a long-term recorder, not intended to make lots of small clips. You start it one time, then forget it for the next 30 minutes up. Etc.

If you need that - there are tons of fully featured recording programs out there that allow to do so. Same for syncing to Timecode - will not happen.

Btw, you are posting in a DIGICheck Mac thread where Global Record not even exists...
