Topic: Digi 96/8 PST No longer working

Greetings,

I have a Digi96/8 PST that worked for years but recently stopped.  I can still see the Digi settings icon in the tool bar but when I click on it the "Settings" dialog box won't open.  Digicheck 4.53 gives me a message: "Device Opening Error:  Invalid device selected or no device available".

I am using the same computer which works otherwise and haven't added any hardware to it.

When I test the output of the Digi using Native Instruments B4 - the sound starts but cuts off shortly after depressing the key.

Anyone have any clues as to what happened and how to fix it.

Your help is appreciated.

Remove the card, clean its PCI gold contacts carefully with a rubber pencil, put back - if this doesn't help you can send the card in for repair. The costs will be announced to you before performing any repair.

Thank you for your response.  I tried the solution that you suggested - but no luck.

I would be interested in getting the card repaired.  How would this be handled?
