No, because we can't know how old that card is. You have to look on the PCB for the manufacturing date or tell us the serial number from the barcode.
the serial number from the barcode : 22492469
many thanks

Thanks for the link but it don't show how to connect the power supply...
many thanks

Use the floppy disk power connector coming out of your computer power supply. If it's already used or does not reach, use the supplied adapter to connect to one of the drive power leads.

If the card is new, it is compatible. Is this from Thomann?

Hi Mikael,
Not possible; the 9636 is a PCI card, Mac Pro only has PCI Express slots.
ok, thanks

hi there
i have a 96/8 card id like to use in my powermac g5 1.8ghz machine (Pci-X)
the number on my barcode is:
22156995
the card does have 2 notches in the pci interface
i think it should be compatible but im not willing to risk destroying the card + my computer without verification from RME
please advise!
i am also interested to know if the mac os x driver supports multi cards in a powermac g5.
thanks
please - i really need a response..
does noone check this forum anymore?? should i write rme directly?
A bit of patience, please. Checking with the factory. Else, mail me a high-res jog of the entire card (both sides).

This card will need a hardware modification for use with a G5.

oh no..
do u still neeed the jpg?
can i perform the hardware modification myself?
i live in canada its hard for me to ship this card to germany??
Daniel?
Even if you might be able to do this mod we will not provide any info about it. Because if something is not done correctly your motherboard is fried. And that all for an audio card which has zero value due to its age!
You can send the card in to our US distributor, they can do the mod, but it will cost some money...more than the card is worth, of course...
sorry im writing once more to be sure
22156995 <-- this is my code on my card
are u sure u didnt respond to the code supplied by the guy who posted before me?
is there anyway u can simply publish the code number that it needs to be above? so that we can assess the compatibility on our own without bothering you each time!!!
If not the canadian distributor, Synthax US can do this for you.
