Topic: Totalmix FX doesn't list Babyface as a device [SOLVED]

Hi,

I recently bought a MacBook Pro 9.2 and a RME Babyface (with external power adapter). The MacBook is running Yosemite 10.10.1.

I've seen Totalmix just running just once that was before updating the Totalmix (now running 1.07) and the firmware of the Babyface.

I can startup Totalmix (I can see it in the dock), but it doesn't show any sliders or knobs.
When I choose File / New Totalmix Window, there are no devices to choose from.

I can play and hear music via the Babyface!

Please help!?

Regards,

Winko

Is the BF Settings dialog working? When powered on are the LED meters of the BF running up? Then the unit is in Class Compliant mode, so TM etc do not work.

Re: Totalmix FX doesn't list Babyface as a device [SOLVED]

Thank you very very much, the BF was indeed in Class Compliant mode.

After reading the excellent accompanying documentation: Babyface - Class Compliant Mode - Technical background, mode of operation, practical use, I knew what to do.

Hold down the Select and Recall button while the Babyface boots. So press both buttons while connecting the Babyface to USB buspower. The level meters will run up, confirming CC mode is activated. The Babyface stays in CC mode until this procedure is repeated. With only one LED on left and right side lit during power-on, the Babyface is in normal mode.

Thank you very much for your help!
