Topic: Speaker routing/management and crossover question

Hello Everybody!
This is my first post on this forum and I'm not sure if this question is related to TotalMix or Babyface directly. I decided to put it here.

Before I buy RME Babyface I need to ask some questions about speaker management features available in Babyface/TotalMix.

1. Does TotalMix allow me to setup subwoofer with main nearfields that I can create crossover (low pass filter with 24db/oct for sub and high pass filter (24db/oct) for nearfields). Is this possible with standard TotalMix software that will be working with babyface.

2. Does TotalMix allow me to setup delay for a nearfields so I can put my Subwoofer for example 7 meters from listening position when my nearfields are 1 meter from listening position. In this application I would like to set delay for nearfields to compensate time beetwen subwoofer and nearfields to eliminate phasing problems in listening position especially in areas near crossover frequency.

If somebody can help I would be very grateful.

Re: Speaker routing/management and crossover question

1) There is a 3 band parametric EQ on each I/O channel, but the Babyface only has 2 analog outputs. Better to use an analog crossover, often this is built in on the subwoofer.

2) No.
