Topic: Anyone used the MADIface Pro with third party MADI units?

We're recording a show this weekend where the FOH system uses a Soundcraft Vi3000 desk.

It has an SC output.  Will this work seamlessly MADIface Pro?  Will Totalmix read all the output channels or just those being used?

Also, is it possible to combine with one or two Micstasies in the MADI chain?

For those who chance upon this thread, the Vi3000 integrated beautifully - we used the analogue ins on the MADIface to record the audience!

With MADI you can build a ring

Device A Out -> Device B IN, Device B OUT -> Device C IN, Device C OUT -> Device A IN

EDIT1: each multimode fiber cable between 2 devices may be up to 2km long. Take i.e. this OM4 multimode cable: https://www.reichelt.de/LWL-Kabel/O0318 … SEARCH=OM4

On the device it should be configurable which Inputs you want to map to 1..64 MADI outputs (assumed you use the format with 64 channels.
