Topic: SMPS RFI on AC line?

Hi, how much RFI (mV) does the standard DAC SMPS emit onto the AC line and at what RF frequency?  I can't find anything online about that.  Thank you.

Re: SMPS RFI on AC line?

Such an info is not available, and is of no practical use. The manufacturer usually only states that the PS stays within the limits of certain regulations (here: EMI Conduction & Radiation Compliance to EN 55022 Class B. Harmonic Current Compliance to EN 61000-3-2, -3 EMS. Immunity Compliance to IEC 61000 1 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11. Safety IEC / EN / UL 60950 1 ▪ CE ▪ RCM ▪ PSE ▪ BSMI).

A number that provides a useful information is the leakage current, which is specced < 0.25 mA for this PS. There are others with lower values, but these are far more expensive as they need to have <0.002 mA to make a difference.

Re: SMPS RFI on AC line?

Of course, you will not find anything on the Internet, and only professional electricians know such information. The most common service is replacing wiring and installing household appliances, such as microwave ovens, microwave ovens, and other electrical devices. Often, when there is a shortage of outlets, ordinary people prefer to use an extension cord or a tee, ignoring the services of an electrician. As a result, electrical wires can not withstand the load on the switchboard, blows plugs, wiring melts, socket sparks, and sometimes appliances and even out of operation. Just invite a professional electrician, Level 2 Electrician Lane Cove https, and all problems are solved in the blink of an eye.
