Topic: Class compliant on mac os

Hello, my Adi2pro sample rate is not changing when i play audio files with the system or itunes.
I think it was changing but i'm not sure any more. I've tried with Macos 10.11 and 10.15.
Everything is fine with audio software.
What do you say ?
Thank you.

Re: Class compliant on mac os

thats not related to class complaint.

You have to use software with auto sample rate changing feature. Such as MPD, VOx, etc. on Mac. iTunes without plugins does not support that.

Re: Class compliant on mac os

You can change the rate of the interface with Apple's "Audio Midi Setup" application, found in Applications -> Utilities.

Re: Class compliant on mac os

Thank you, i was thinking that in "class compliant mode" the system control everything and need nothing more to work in every situation. (of course it "works" all the time but with system sample rate conversion).

Re: Class compliant on mac os

It’s the music player’s responsibility to set the sample rate to whatever being played correctly. Many players (VOX, MPD, etc) do that. Some (iTunes) don’t and relies on system audio stack’s sample rate conversion.
