Topic: Computer doesn't recognize the FF400 as midi device

Hi all,

after the summer break I noticed that my macbook no longer recognizes my Fireface 400 as a midi interface. The audio works well but no midi device is shown on my macbook (Mojave). I tried another mac (High Sierra) but it's the same here too. I reinstalled the FF driver and "updated" the midi-setup in macos. Unfortunately without success.

I'm trying to figure out if it is a software or hardware issue. Because two years ago a pin of the midi breakout cable broke and got stuck in the FF400, but all the midi inputs and outouts worked well.
And I think that the computer should at least recognize the midi device, even if the midi input would not work properly?

Can anyone give me some suggestions what else I can try to get my Mac to recognize the FF400 as a midi device again?

FireWire driver 339 from our website should fix this, please try.
