Topic: Best affordable PCIe in 2019/2020 for Fireface 400/800?

Greetings RME community. I was hoping I could get recommendations on compatible PCIe's for Firewire 800? Bonus for a good 800/400 combo, but I would greatly appreciate quality and affordable PCIe's to install in multiple PC's running Windows 10. I live in the United States, but am open to buying internationally so long as I'm not paying crazy shipping rates. I also apologize if this is the wrong forum to be asking in. Thank you kindly!

Hello RME's !
i was about to ask the same kind of question. I update my system to i9 - Z390 motherboard (no firewire integrated) and migrate from win 7 pro 64 to win 10 pro 64 ('gonna be an adventure... well quite safe from a migrant perspective) and i no longer have access to my good old motherboard TI's firewire chipset. I'm broke after this MB+Proc+RAM update so i won't be able to invest in UFX II before quite a long time.

Is this Exsys EX-16415 FW card you always mention (seen in all your posts on the subject) the only solution ? i find it quite expensive from france for a FW card IMHO.

is the chipset the only main point to respect for choosing or did you test other FW card with the same Texas Instrument XIO2213 chipset that behave badly ??? no other solution ?

they also don't say it is win 10 compatible...

You do not understand German. Simply google for this card.
Google will always present you search results from your country with higher priority.
So if there is a ship in france who has this card, then you will see it directly yourself.
