Topic: Fireface UFX II with Beyerdynamic DT 100 Headphones

My question is, what impedance does the Fireface UFX II headphone outputs handle?
My Beyerdynamic DT 100 Headphones are 400ohms and are very low volume compared to my Sony 7506 63ohms and my Telefunkan THP-29 Headphones 32 ohms. The specs on the Fireface phone output show 2ohms, I my be reading that wrong, I don't know.
I appreciate any help with this.

Thanks

Headphone output impedance for the Fireface UFX II/+ is 2 ohms.
I use it with my Audio-Technica ATH-R70x (470 ohms) without any problem. The volume is lower at the same setting if you compare with a 32 ohms impedance headphone. But it works great !

Ok so the Fireface can't handle higher impedance headphones. That's all I wanted to know. Thanks.

A 470 Ohms headphone will ALWAYS be lower in volume than a 32 Ohms one at the same volume level setting. That is the same for EVERY headphone amp.

It can. What you need for your DT100 is voltage, not power, and the UFX II has plenty.
