Topic: XLR to Cinch adapter (for SUB in parallel)

Hello,

I would like to connect my tube power Amp and connect my Subwoofer (Piega) in parallel.
I understand I can do this on ADI 2 DAC from Cinch and XLR outputs in parallel.
Now, unfortunately neither the Amp nor the Sub have XLR inputs but only Cinch.
I guess an XLR to Cinch adapter should do the trick?
Now, reading the nice handbook, it says something that when connecting unbalanced equipment (I guess this is the case as the sub has only Cinch), you need to make sure that pin 3 is not connected.
However, the adapters I could see on Amazon seems to have always 3 pins connected.

Is there any special adapter "ready to go"?
Could anyone recommend such one?

Thank you very much.

Buy a short adapter cable and cut off pin 3 connection in the XLR. Or:

If you only connect one sub you will want to combine channels via y-cable adapter.

Actually at first I had a grund hum. In the end, I connected the RME via RCA (bought new cables without the hummm...) - and from the SUB via RCA back to the powe amp. As this, the signal is split between the sub and the speakers.
Still wondering, if it would be any better to connect the Sub in parallel instead?
