Hi, will DIGICheck be available in 64 bit for Mac?
In the process of preparing our working system for a hopefully smooth upgrade to macOS10.15, I notice latest DIGICheck v073(2) for mac is 32-bit only. I assume it will not work with Catalina.
just tested with macOS 10.15b8 ....
Perhaps as important, when will RME's Installer files be updated to 64 bit?
Will 64-bit versions of DIGICheck and MIDI Remote be available soon? The question is urgent now that MacOS 10.15 has been released and requires them. We use DIGICheck in all recording, mixing, and mastering sessions. MIDI Remote is the only way to remotely control some (mostly static) device parameters. Thanks,

While I'm in no hurry to upgrade to 10.15, count me in as a happy RME customer and regular DIGICheck user willing to wait for a compatible update before doing so — in terms of workflow simplicity, there's nothing like it.
There’s a lot of stuff that will not work in Catalina.... and a lot that isn’t obvious.
Well, last time I checked we had a total of 455 GUI applications installed (3.634 executable)
3 of those are fully 32 bit, DIGICheck is one of the them.
I wondering, there’s not been a single word from RME on it, not their typical act I believe.
Who knows, maybe we will see a totally revamped DIGICheck2020 -streamlined and stylish like TMFX. Perhaps an even further expanded suite, including more standards eg. LU(m), LU(s), IEC, Mid-Side metering, legend graphs, FFT display, options to display enlarged digits in session-environments etc. ツ

Please update DIGICheck 64-bit for macOS10.15 (Catalina), essential in my recording sessions.
While we wait for anything actually, can we share how our workflow without DIGIcheck? I use Voxengo SPAN plugin in my DAW to check the incoming signal in monitoring mode which is pain in #^% because you have to disable the track, arm it and switch to monitor.
What I haven’t figured out is how to track both incoming signal and the signal from my DAW simultaneously. Ah, despair.

Great to hear that it is being worked on. I am a RME Customer since 2005. The FIREFACE 800 has been my audio interface for the last 14 soon to be 15 years. I have never had any issue with it physically, or any of the software updates over the years. I have used the same unit on both windows and now Mac without issue. What has made it legendary to me besides its reliability and quality is DIGICheck. DIGICheck has definitely become a vital tool for my setup. I value it more then my Plugins, VSTs, and DAW tools. I will be patiently awaiting this update.

Catalina is nearly 6 months old now !!!!
I wanted to buy a new RME sound card to change my old Fireface800, but without the 64-bit digicheck I wouldn't buy it at all.
Too long time for a 64-bit update.

apple hat daruf hingewiesen das 32 bit programme mit catalina nicht mehr funktionieren. catalina ist nun über 6 monate alt..
RME hatte über 1 jahr zeit und nichts passiert.. keine aussagekräftige infos nichts.
I'd be hanging in there folks.
Remember, RME is still supporting their gear from 15 years ago.

ah that's a relief! I was afraid DIGICheck was abandoned for latest macOS. Looking forward to the beta version and release, please post a link when available.
Digicheck is one of the most important reasons why I bought RME even if I could get UAD or other high end at discount price.
First I was highly disappointed when I learned that digicheck doesn’t offer recording ability in Mac. Please, please fix this. When inspiration strikes I record with digicheck not with any DAW. It’s so simple that I have it open at all times on a PC.
I too was bumbed to find this out (after an hour of trying to figure out where the DIGICheck mac recording is).. The only viable solution for me was to use DUREC but its cumbersome in that that the audio recording is kept on a separate device.
BTW: I am not sure but my assumption is that DUREC because it is pre drivers and based solely on the hardware layer of the device might give better audio quality results, but I have no clear basis of that assumption. Perhaps someone here could elaborate more on the matter.
I am also still waiting for the mac 64 bit DIGICheck beta.

I visit this page every morning when I wake up to see if there is a news .. It has been six months since a new Mac OS operating system came out ..

Unfortunately DUREC is no good for us babyface folks. Ewe still need a decent fast audio recorder and digicheck would do the job perfectly fine.
But is it possible that after six months it has not yet been updated to 64 bit?
We have been waiting for a long time now.
Also give us the opportunity to work with Mac.
