Topic: ADI2 and Radyat ADAT Sync

Hello,

I am using the ADI-2 Pro FS in connection with a HSDPE Raydat.
The Raydat is set as the MasterClock.

The setup Is as followed:
ADAT 1 : Some other external ADAT device (not RME)
ADAT 2: ADI-2 Pro FS
ADAT 3: not used
ADAT 4: not used
AES: Some other Device (not RME)

ADI-2 Pro FS is set to auto concerning clock.
When I do change the samplerate, I can see also the change on ADI-2 side.
Sound comes out, so it seems to be OK.

However: I do not understand why the ADI-2 is not seen to be synchronized on the settings dialog of the Hammerfall DSP .
The first device on ADAT 1 is shown, the device on AES also.
But on ADAT 2 , where the ADI-2 is connected, nothing is shown that a sync or lock will be done.
In detail the appropriate group box looks like that

---Input Status---
ADAT 1    Sync     48 khz
ADAT 2    No lock                  (=> here, the ADI2 should be shown somehow, or?)
ADAT 3    No lock
ADAT 4    No lock
AES         Lock     96 khz
SPDIF      No lock
TCO         No lock
Sync in    No lock

Clock source for Raydat is set to Internal / Master

I am confused, why isnt it shown?
What do I understand wrong?

Thanks in advance for your answer and help.

Re: ADI2 and Radyat ADAT Sync

I suspect there is no output cable from the adi into the raydat , so how would the raydat know? If there is, both the raydat and the adi must use the same protocol, either spdif or adat. Not sure what the adi can send

Re: ADI2 and Radyat ADAT Sync

Hi Vinark,

yes , that was the reason.
This has to be set manually.
Now its shwon correctly.

Thank you for your answer and help.
