Topic: Durec Track Sequence

My UFX isn't handy right now.  I'm recovering a bad take due to a Pro Tools problem.

Does anyone have a list of the track numbers as seen on Durec recordings VS UFX track order?

Obviously analog in corresponds to track numbers 1 through 8, mic in is 9 through 12.

I don't know the order beyond 12.  Looking for AES, and MADI mostly.

I don't think this is in the manual.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Durec Track Sequence

Unarmed tracks are not recorded at all, so not sure you have the right idea here.

Anyway, the channel order is Analog (1-12), AES (13-14), ADAT (15-30). MADI (31-94).

True, but after you run the files through the batch converter, they do have unique track numbers, whether other tracks are recorded or not.

If I only record Analog 8, the file will have an "8" suffix.

The info you gave tells me what I need to know though.

The last time I used Durec to save me after a DAW problem, the UFX+ was in my studio, so I could figure it out from there.  It will be handy having the info you just posted.
