Topic: Babyface as remote volume controller for Fireface802?

Hi ! I was wondering if there is any possibility to use my old baby face as a volume controller for my Fireface802.
I purchased the Fireface weeks ago and i realized that there is no knob to control the main output volume except for the headphones output. This means that I have to open Total mix every time i need to access the volume of the speakers.
On the Babyface it was so simple and comfortable with that big rotary encoder.
Maybe I'm missing something ?
Thanx in advance from Italy and sorry if my english is bad big_smile

The ARC USB remote is the best solution for you:

Re: Babyface as remote volume controller for Fireface802?

HI, I too would love to find a solution here. I have a FF800 at my home studio setup. I have plenty (Seem to keep them as spares) of original Babyface (s).......Is there a way to use the original BABYFACE's rotary dial and two buttons to control my Fireface 800? Master volume perhaps and say "MONO" or "DIM"??

No way. And the ARC USB is not that expensive that we have to discuss that. Once you have it you will know why the BF would have been a not very useful workaround, simply not being worth it.
