Topic: Noise At Mic/ Line Preamp / Rme UCX

Hello

At  Mic/ Line Preamp 1 (front panel)i have a noise always even with no connected mic or any other cable on the rme ucx

Thats the typical noise of a feedback loop, because you send the recorded Mic signal to the connected monitors.

Hi Ramses

How i can change  that?
I dont  connect any microphone or any cable at the Mic amp 1 and the signal is green always at front panel ... Sorry if is a dummy question!

TM FX -> Submix mode
Click to the HW output where your Monitor is connected to (submix).
Turn down the fader of Mic input.

That is not noise but a pure tone. And the first time I see feedback stopping when applying gain. You should disable the Dynamics to further evaluate this issue.

1)How that tone is there? No mic or any cable connected

2)How i can disable the Dynamics? I dont find that in manual

In that channel the D symbol is yellow, so you activated Dynamics...

Yes the problem is strange

i will install the latest drivers firmware,reset, and if the problem remain i will send the ucx for service
