Survive,

I would be the FURTHEST from an IT expert imaginable, but DO use the Forum Search feature.  This matter has been addressed numerous times, and always with a Good Outcome.   Hang in there!  Everything will work out fine.

In the interim, pick through this link found on this Website.

Re: auto sample rate switching

my question shows that i made a search before posting. I am using the windows class compliant driver and not the madiface.

Re: auto sample rate switching

Those drivers are not 'installed' but present in the system, so you made a misleading statement.

How many sample rates are listed in the Control Panel / Sound / ADI Playback device / Properties / Advanced dropdown list? Should be all possible, otherwise Windows' CC drivers are not in use.

Re: auto sample rate switching

Yes from 44.1 to 384khz.

Tidal in exclusive mode, doesn't change the sample rate.

Also in Tidal  i must change first the output to system controlled and then to adi 2 dac to hear sound every time i start it.

Foobar is ok at changing sample rate.

Why not mention Tidal in your first post already? Tidal is known not to work, please use a search in this forum for workarounds.
