Topic: EQ Preset Manual - how to force send a preset to?

Under what condition an existing EQ preset is copied to the "Manual" slot?
Is there a way to force this?

Background:
When tweaking EQ presets it's more convenient to locate them in adjacent slots.
I already leave slot 1 for this, to campare with "Temp", but often it's 3 settings that I want to compare.
So "Manual" would be handy.

EDIT:
When switching off and on again the current EQ preset goes to "Manual", but as "Temp" is lost I'm still looking for another way.

Kai, I'm looking at Pg 25 of the ADI-2 DAC User Manual.  I'm really going out of my element here, but the Manual states that it's possible to compare Saved, Temp, and Manual EQs.   For Manual, this suggests to me that you would need to re-build an existing EQ, +/- any adjustments for comparison.   

I hope there is SOME Shred of sense to my comments.   You can manage this. smile   Failing that, I'm quite certain MC could share his insights.
