As I saw the 12mic as a kinda successor of the Octamic XTC, I'm still confused with the lack of ADAT IN on it.
I was expecting building a configuration PC + UFX+ and distant MADI preamps.
I own an Audient ASP880 (8 preamps with ADAT out and AES out), and I wish to insert it in the MADI chain, which is something possible with the Octamic XTC.

But, if I understand well, we could not insert a distant ADAT (or AES) preamp in the MADI chain (or AVB network) through the new 12mic?
If so, the Octamic XTC is still the only way to have distant preamps embedded + distant integration of ADAT/AES preamps?
