We have RME UFX+ in the studio with PSI A21m monitors.

However some clients require to listen super loud, which A21m can't deliver on sub heavy music without significant low end distortion.

We wanted to add 2 subs to the system, to gain more headroom on the A21m's when playing ultra loud, and to extend and lift the low end a bit. We got very flat FR response curve in the control room +/3 db @ 12db/oct smoothing, so we can't lift the bass up to get something like Bruel & Kjaer curve, without lifting the bass on the Totalmix eq which lowers the headroom on our speakers even further.

We also have ARC Remote control.

Is there any way that we could integrate two subwoofers, and use totalmix eq for the "satelites" crossover/highpass and have it control the global system volume as option 1, and mute the subs and keep the "satelites" full range as a second option, all of that with TotalMix and ARC if that make sense ?
