Topic: UFX+ gaps in bottom panel of the chassis

Hi,

After many happy years with the 1st Gen Multiface I just bought a used UFX+ on ebay for a decent price. However, I was just taking a second look at the pictures provided and I'm not sure if I should be concerned. It looks like there are gaps on either side of the bottom panel of the chassis. Is this normal or might it indicate that someone has been inside the unit perhaps? Any help much appreciated wink

Also, just wondering if there will be a noticable difference in the sound? I suspect that there won't be much since the multiface sounded so good already.

That 'gap' is normal.

Thank you MC smile  - That's very reassuring to know. I didn't know how else to check as there are unsurprisingly not many pictures of the underside of these units tongue
