Topic: FIREFACE UCX works, but no TotalMix FX

Hello,

I have started using my RME again after a few years and noted that there was no TotalMix software installed. So from the website, the driver I installed was the 1186 version (latest on the website).

The RME works as I am getting sounds and my computer recognizes it.

But, the TotalMix FX (or even TotalMix) software is absent. I even tried to enable it from the Taskbar settings in personalization (Start>Settings>Personalisation>Taskbar), but it is not even there. I can not find it anywhere.

Even more curious, the RME folder in the C drive is EMPTY. Yes, completely empty.

I can't even find anything in the System 32 folder.

I have installed the driver and restarted the system.

I have installed the latest firmware.

No positive results.

Can anyone help me with a solution?

Windows 10? Then your UCX is most probably set to Class Compliant mode.
