Topic: 96k session in UFX+ (MADI optical <> coaxial converter by split mode

I tried to use UFX+ as MADI optical <> coaxial two-way converter by MADI split mode.

The signal chain:
AVID S6L > coaxial MADI > UFX+ > optical MADI > UAD Live Rack > optical MADI > UFX+ > coaxial MADI > AVID S6L

I successfully transmitted signal to the UAD Live Rack, but the return optical MADI never able to deliver 96K clock. UFX+ only recognize 48k clock.
When I switch to RME MADI Converter, everything is OK. As such, I believe, it should not be a clock problem of UAD Live Rack.

Any idea on this issue?
I updated all firmware + driver on UFX+, the problem stays.

Thanks

Re: 96k session in UFX+ (MADI optical <> coaxial converter by split mode

If the UFX+ says 48k then there is 48k. That doesn't mean it's not 96 kHz sample rate. Read the UFX+ manual, chapter 40.5 DS - Double Speed, and 21.3 MADI I/O.
