i have an early 2015 macbook pro running osx catalina 10.15.5 and cant get total mix or fireface settings to load i have a thunderbolt to fire wire 800 adapter pluged in and nothing is happening? i have installed the latest drivrs. Am i installing the right drivers do i need to get anything else?please help im totally stuck. thnkyou
Latest FireWire driver for Mac is 3.39.
i have installed the 3.39 driver when i go to load the app the icon bounces and does nothing.
I'm using a thunderbolt to firewire 800 adaptor. I don't know if it is a software issue it works on my other macs just fine an old mac pro and an older macbook pro with just straight firewire
Check your hardware. In System Information, left pane Hardware, Thunderbolt, the Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter must be listed in the top right pane. Under FireWire (left pane) the Fireface 800 will be shown in the right panes as Vendor 0xA35 Device 0x101800. If this device is not there then neither TM FX nor Settings dialog will open.
