Topic: adi2 pro fs r be How can I play both analog input and usb together?

I have connected a mixer to analog in and trying monitor audio coming it while playing sound from usb. I have connected a microphone to the mixer and into adi2 pro, I want to  hear the microphone while playing instrumental through usb at the same time. Is it possible?

Also, the analog input on my PC shows that when the dsd is activated, audible loud noise is coming through analog inputs from adi2 pro. As long as dsd is switch to pcm, the noise is gone and sound is clear. Any fix?

ADI-2 Pro doesn’t have an internal mixing function.

•1 Mixing vocal and playback has to be done in your DAW if you want to use ADI-2 Pro’s outputs for monitoring.

•2 Else you can route (DAW) the vocal and the playback to different outputs on ADI-2 Pro, i.e. playback to 1/2 and vocal to 3/4.

Then connect both to your analog mixer and use the mixer outputs for monitoring.


Option •1 is more convenient usually.

The ADI-2 Pro does not have a mixer. You mix iin the box (your DAW) or externally with your mixing desk.

Noise: Analog Input menu, at the bottom - Set AD conversion to PCM.
