Topic: blocked usb interface

I purchased a Digiface USB.  Tried to install driver and flash on a 3 different Mac's and a PC.  None work.  After downloading the driver installing and then downloading the flash, when I attempt to install the flash it won't open and neither Total mix.  It appears that the Mac is blocking the USB.  I did all the "allow" steps that are said in the website, again we tried on 4 different computers.  Any ideas for me?

I had the same problem with an old Babyface silver.
I found out the previous owner did use the babyface in CC-mode, class compliant mode.
It must be resetted by pressing two knobs during powering up.
Then it was recognized and flashing worked fine and since then I can use it on my new Macbook Air M1.

Is it possible your unit is in a mode where it not get connected ?
