Topic: Octamic: Channel 1 drops out / distorted

Hello,

we have the combo FF UC + Octamic (ADAT connected) in our rental stock.

On 3 of the last 5 jobs, users reported that the 1st mic input of the octamic dropped out / crackling sound before failure.

Here in the warehouse everything seems to work perfectly (...of course)

Does anybody experienced similar issues? Any hints appreciated!

Which Octamic is this exactly?
If original Ocatmic or Octamic II, does this also affect the analog output?

Hi Daniel,

its the Octamic, always ADAT connected - so I don't know if the analog outs are also affected.

I will test further, maybe I can reproduce the problem here. If not, do you have a suggestion how to proceed?

The devices are running for 3 days nonstop without showing the problem. I'll send them on job again and hope for the best. If the error occurs again I will send it to you for further testing at a dedicated measuring station.
