Topic: Rme adi 2 pro connected to turntable

Will the analog signal coming from a phono preamp be converted to digital if i connect it to the analog input of the adi-2 pro?

I want to connect a phono preamp  to the adi-2 pro with xlr cables of 6 meter. I cannot connect the phono preamp straight to a cayin tube amp because there are no xlr inputs available

2) Have you thought about XLR->RCA adaptors or converter cables?

THank you for the info. I do have Neutrik adapters and I will try them out.
