Topic: What is this on the backside ?

Most of the RME devices has this kind of handle Aufhängebügel on the backside next to the power input.
It is for hanging up the unit after the dishwasher is finished with it ?
I should not cut it away ? it will be bleeding then ?
Just curious about it...

This is a cable fixer. It prevents USB, optical etc from getting pulled out of the socket. And the only thing you need to do is feed it through the hook.

BTW, it is screwed. You can remove it by turning it 'out'.

Now that I find it useful, I let it in.
But the word clock BNC sockets are still in the way. May be I do my flex-artwork there...?
