Topic: ADI-2 Pro FS R with Audexe LCD-3

I currently own a pair of Audeze LCD-3 and I only have a balanced cable with a 4-pin XLR on the amp side. I am seriously considering purchasing an ADI-2 Pro FS R. Will this 4-pin XLR Female Balanced to Dual 1/4 6.35mm Male TRS work?

I also have one of these that should also work although it turns my balanced cable into a single-ended one:

I am also considering cutting the 4-pin XLR connector off my existing cable and soldering on a pair of TRS connectors.

Is there a preferred way to use the headphone outs on this device? Is there any inherent benefit to using a balanced connection over a single-ended one? Am I giving anything up using either of the above connectors? Lastly, just curious, does anyone know a source for dual mono cables for Audeze LCD headphones?

Thanks,
Martin

Re: ADI-2 Pro FS R with Audexe LCD-3

Normal stereo is fully sufficient. The few dB SNR more you won't hear anyway.
Its much likely that the quality is even better if you avoid so many additional adapters ...
