Topic: New ADI-2 DAC and Popping Sound

Probably not an ADI-2 issue, but thought I would ask here to perform my due diligence.

Purchased a new ADI-2 DAC and using out-of-the-box settings. My setup consists of the following:
ADI-2 RCA ----> KEF KC62 SW (RCA Input and LPF 80) ----> KEF KC62 (RCA Output and HPF 80) ----> Parasound A21 (Auto Sensing Enabled) ---- > KEF LS50 Meta

The problem occurs when I stop the audio signal, the LS50 Metas will pop,  ~10 minutes after the audio signal is stopped.

I have swapped all RCAs, power-cords, and speaker cables without success. Is there any suggestions or settings in the ADI-2 that could address the issue?

Thanks

Re: New ADI-2 DAC and Popping Sound

Is the Amp set to auto off ?

This is copy out of it :
Turn Off Delay in the Audio Mode
When the music (audio signal) stops, the A 21 will remain turned on for about five minutes. This delay prevents unwanted turn-off during silent passages in music or pauses between.

I guess the pop you hear is the switching off from the amp...?

M1-Sonoma, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately that did not address the issue. The pop still occurs and before the amp goes into stand-by. I am leaning toward a bad KEF KC62.

Lastly,  I swapped the Parasound w/ a Bryston and same issue....

Re: New ADI-2 DAC and Popping Sound

You can try to power down the ADI-2 DAC for testing.
A switched-off ADI-2 can‘t pop.

If you still get the pops try the same with the KEF KC62.
