Topic: Download problems

I recently purchased the RME Adi2 DAC and I'm stuck on trying to download the driver. I'm new to this download system and I don't understand how to do it correctly. I would appreciate some help.

There is a driver software for windows only, this one :

On the very top of the www.RME-audio.de website there is a link Downloads,
there is where I always start to look.
Choose the device, the platform, etc.
Please check out.

Hello maxhigh, welcome to the RME user forum, congradulations to your ADI-2 DAC, a very good choice!

Sorry, but you didn't tell whether you have a Windows or an Apple Computer. Why? Apple needs no driver.

And while we are at it .. Do you have the latest firmware installed? Latest firmware version is v35 (see screenshot below how to get this information from the download page).
How to check on the device? Power-on ADI-2 DAC, you'll see the firmware version below the blue RME logo for ~3 seconds.

Hint: the manual contains a chapter about firmware and software updates, I recommend you to read it as it contains many valuable information about your new device. You should have got a printed manual together with your device.
The latest version of the manual you can always find at the following locations (the PDF version is very useful if you want to perform a keyword search):
