Topic: New FireWire driver 3.391 - any info?

It’s amazing to see that RME continue to support my ancient FF400. As far as I can see there are very few companies (Metric Halo being another one) that maintain a policy of supporting older digital hardware. Kudos!

So a new FireWire driver came out this week to little fanfare: 3.391

Given that the previous version was, I think 3.39, I’m guessing it’s a very minor change, but it would be good to know whether or not this update is recommended and what exactly it changes?

Did you look already into the changelog in the ZIP archive ?

Well then please do, its quicker to open the readme file than to duplicate all the information here.
I checked already, and well ... the information is there...
